IRCTC Bedding Services Resume
Recently IRCTC has decided to resume the bedding services from April month in which bedrolls and blankets will be provided. As per media reports, the passengers will get the privilege of getting bedrolls, blankets, towels, and sheets in a cover, but only the passengers of AC coaches. In 2020 IRCTC had these services discontinued after noticing the rise in COVID cases. During a pandemic, the passengers have to bring their bedsheets and pillows.
As the COVID cases are now declining and touching the low mark every day, the railway has decided to resume its services.
Trains Which Are Already Getting Served
“Indore-Dehradun Express, Jammu Tawi-Kanpur Central Superfast, Hazrat, Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express, Gomti Express, Vaishno Devi Katra-Ghazipur City, “ are a few trains that are already serving the passengers with bedrooms and sheets.
As per the reports, services are already resumed in 26 trains which are part of Northern Railways. Apart from this from April 6, 92 trains are providing curtains to the passengers & 23 trains have been providing bedrolls to customers. As the railway is the most frequently used mode of transport this step has come as a big relief for the passengers.

IRCTC Ahmedabad-Mumbai Tejas Express Will Run Six Days
Now with the recent notice train, Ahmedabad-Mumbai Tejas Express of which the number is 82902/82901 will now run six days a week instead of five. Western Railway has made it clear that Tejas Express will run on Tuesdays also. Tejas Express is known for its world-class service and convenience level provided to passengers, it is favored by every business class passenger and operated by IRCTC.
Tejas express provides many advanced services to the passengers which include, GPS travel information, automatically operated interconnecting doors, CCTV cameras, Modular bio-toilets, a wide luggage rack, of course, charging points, etc.
