Italy Bars Are Using Pasta Straws To Curb Plastic Pollution And Yes, They Are Tasteless

After bestowing the world the likes of Jeans and Nutella, Italy once again surprises us with yet another unique invention i.e. Pasta Straws.

Recently, a Reddit user from Italy shared a picture of what Italians call a pasta straw and it has been circulating on the web ever since. The straw is an alternative to plastic straws in a bid to curb plastic pollution.

However, you might be thinking that wouldn’t a pasta straw ruin the taste of your favourite drink? Well, Stroodles – the makers of the pasta straws – claim the straws are completely tatsless.

The straw last 1 hour in cold drinks, and the colder the drink, the longer one can use them.
