Delhi: With the rise in Covid-19 cases and during the oxygen shortage, an ITBP-run Covid Care Centre started its operation at the Radha Soami Satsang Beas facility with 500 oxygen beds. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced that more than 200 ICU beds will be added at the Covid Care Centre in the next few days. Additionally, he thanked the Central government for providing medical staff and doctors.
Taking on Twitter, Arvind Kejriwal wrote, “Visited the Radha Saomi facility this morning. 500 oxygen beds start today. More beds will be added in the next few days. We will also start 200 ICU beds here. Grateful to Babaji for helping us. Thank you Central govt for providing doctors and medical staff of ITBP.”

The Delhi Chief Minister, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, and Health Minister Satyendra Jain visited the ITBP-run Covid Care center. After this, Arvind Kejriwal said that the center will be increased to 2000 beds capacity and then 5000.
