Kangana Ranaut was recently in news for her misinformed remark on a woman protesting against the farm laws.
In a tweet, that stands deleted now, Kangana had mistaken an old lady for Bilkis Bano, the same dadi who had become the face of Shaheen Bagh protests. Kangana in her tweet wrote that this ‘dadi‘ (Bano) is available for hire as a protestor for ‘₹100’.
However, the picture was of a different dadi and not Bilkis Bano, which resulted in people fuming against Kangana for her remark.
Meanwhile, one among the fumed was also actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh who had lashed out at Kanaga for her comment. Since then, the two have been involved in a verbal spat on Twitter.
