Unveiling this exciting development during the highly anticipated 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM), Mukesh Ambani, the visionary Chairperson and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, shared the momentous news that the grand debut of Jio AirFiber is set to unfold on Tuesday, the 19th of September, 2023. This noteworthy launch will beautifully coincide with the revered festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, adding an extra layer of significance to the occasion.

Introduced at the company’s 45th AGM last year, Jio AirFiber is a game-changer. Jio highlighted its ability to provide wireless internet speeds as fast as fiber-optic connections. This means users can enjoy smooth activities like video streaming, gaming, and video calls with minimal delays. The service also offers handy features such as parental controls and support for Wi-Fi 6.

Jio claims that the Jio AirFiber utilizes authentic 5G technology to provide fast, reliable, and wide-ranging Wi-Fi coverage. They state that this service can cover an area of up to 1,000 square feet on a single floor of a house or office, thanks to their unique spectrum allocation.

The Jio AirFiber service is expected to be priced 20 percent lower than other devices available in the market. A report from ET Telecom suggests that the device might cost around Rs 6,000.
