The largest telecom provider in India Reliance Jio is in no mood to restrict its expansion. Becoming the first telecom operator in the country Jio is entering the domain of digital payments.
The 370 million subscribers backed operator has launched its own UPI payment services. Jio has come with the service to compete with domain giants Paytm, Phone Pe and Google Pay. The UPI payment service is now available to the Jio users.

For using Jio UPI payment services, one has to install the My Jio app. The process for using the Jio UPI service is as follows:
- First of all the user has to generate UPI with @jio extension
- Next up this UPI is to be linked with the user’s bank account
That’s it. After this two-step process, one can easily use the services of UPI payments offered by the telecom giant.
