Indian baraats are renowned for arriving late for the wedding and there’s no denying to the fact. However, this concept of arriving late surely didn’t go well with a bride’s family from Nangaljat village of Bijnor district in Uttar Pradesh.
As reported by Times now, a groom and a baraat were allegedly beaten and locked in a room after they arrived late for the wedding.
Adding to the baraati’s misery, the girl even got married to a man from the neighborhood post the mishap.

Notably, the bride hadn’t gone to live with her in-laws post the mass wedding. There were also dowry-related disagreements from both sides, which had the bride’s family angry.
Adding to the anger was the groom arriving late to the wedding, which surely didn’t go as the groom’s family would have thought.
