Karnataka Minister Ramalingareddy has ordered a three-month extension for the high-security registration number plate (HSRP) installation procedure to speed up the process in all state vehicles. Concerns about the slow implementation rate in comparison to other states prompted this decision.
To overcome the delay in the installation of high-security registration number plates (HSRP) in cars throughout the state, Minister Ramalingareddy has taken the initiative. Only 9.16% of cars now have HSRP plates on them, thus the minister has issued a three-month extension to guarantee complete compliance.
Although 18,32,787 automobiles had HSRP plates installed, the state’s slow installation speed caused concern. In response to inquiries about the delay, Minister Ramalingareddy underlined the necessity of swift action.
“We have experienced delays in the implementation of HSRP plates compared to other states where the process has been faster,” Minister Ramalingareddy said in response to a query from Madhu Madegowda.
The three-month extension of the deadline was given to speed up the installation procedure and guarantee that every car in the state has the required HSRP plates installed.
