Kerala has always been one step ahead of any other state in the country and during the time of the pandemic, it’s showcasing the same. Reportedly, a startup in Kerala has deployed robots on the streets to distribute masks, sanitisers and napkins.

The startup, Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), has deployed two such robots in its complex in Kochi. The robots were also seeing informing people about the coronavirus and hygiene practices they must follow.
The CEO of the startup said that the robots have been deployed as they will attract attention as people would want to see them function and listen to them.
“They are actually crowd-pullers. So people will gather around the robot and we can very effectively communicate this to the public,” said Jayakrishnan T, the brains behind the robots.
