Ahead of the next month’s IPL player auction in Kolkata Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) has traded-off there captain R. Ashwin to Delhi Capitals. In trade-off, the KXIP picked up Karnatka spinner Jagadeesha Suchith.

KXIP also got INR 1.5 Crores in the trade-off. The talks were going to get Kiwi pacer Trent Boult from the Delhi Capitals in trade-off but it didn’t materialize. Ashwin would now be paid INR 7.6 crore (his auction amount) by the Delhi Capitals.

The official announcement of the trade-off between the two franchises would be made next week.
