The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) informed users that the Aadhaar cardholders can know the Aadhaar card update status in just three simple steps – call at 1947, email at [email protected] or log in at the direct link — resident.uidai.gov.in/check-aadhaar.
With the help of Twitter, the UIDAI said, “Have you updated your Aadhaar recently? Call 1947 or email at [email protected] to know the status of your update request. Keep your acknowledgment slip or URN handy to get the details.”
In order to know the status, one should keep the 14-digit URN number or acknowledge slip. If a person is sending an email at [email protected] to check the updated status and while calling at 1947 then have to give URN number.

Step 1: Firstly, log in to the UIDAI link — resident.uidai.gov.in/check-aadhaar.
Step 2: Now, enter the 14-digit Enrolment ID number.
Step 3: Fill in the Captcha details correctly.
Step 4: Hit on the ‘Check Status’ button.
Step 5: After this, your Aadhaar card update status is shown on your device screen.
