Andhra Pradesh’s wicketkeeper-batsman KS Bharat has been called by the BCCI’s selection committee to join the Indian squad as a standby for Rishabh Pant for the 2nd ODI of the series against Australia
Bharat’s call was necessitated as regular keeper Rishabh Pant sustained a mild concussion after being hit by a Pat Cummins delivery on the helmet in the last match at Mumbai. However, Bharat would not take the field as KL Rahul would don the gloves.
