Multiple Revisions Of Petrol & Diesel Prices
Don’t know if it is a sign of relief or a decision that will cause more trouble to middle-class salaried. Prices of petrol & diesel remained unchanged on Thursday, in the last seventeen days it was the third time when the fuel prices did not surge.
As a result of these constant hike sessions, now in the National Capital petrol now costs ₹105.41 per litre against the previous rate of ₹104.61. Diesel prices climbed up to ₹96.67 from ₹95.87 as per the notification rolled out for state fuel retailers. For Mumbai, the price is set at ₹120.51 for petrol and ₹104.77 for diesel.

The prices have increased fourteen times since March 22, before that the fuel prices remained stable for up to four months. Now it is expected to increase further as Oil Marketing Companies will have to react to the rise in Crude Oil prices.

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) on April 7 increased by ₹3 per Kg with another major hike. This results in rising CNG retail prices up to ₹69.11 per KG in Delhi, and ₹71.67 per KG in Noida & Ghaziabad.
