Lilium, the makers of the first flying Taxi has completed the first phase of testing its on-demand flying mobility service called Lilium Jet. The Jet during the trial run clocked the speed of 100km/hr. Lilium released a video of the jet performing successful vertical and horizontal maneuvers during its flights.

Powered by 36 electric engines, the jet has the potential to carry five passengers. Its 36 batteries help it produce 2,000 horsepower and will allow it to cruise at up to 300 km/hour (186 mph). The company plans to begin commercial service from 2025.
