A Russian prisoner ‘Vladimir The Cannibal’ talks for the first time about eating a human flesh the first time after killing a man and disjoining his limbs.

Cannibal Vladimir Nikolayevich Nikolayev, 63, is a prisoner in Russia who killed two men in Novocheboksarsk in 1997. He was sentenced to death but after the death penalty was abolished in Russia in 1999, his death sentence was converted to life imprisonment.
He was shifted to K-6 Black Dolphin Prison, which was located near the Kazakhstan border in 2001. In this prison, prisoners are kept in isolated cells and they were also not allowed to sit or rest until their time of sleep.
This year Vladimir was allowed to be in the documentary made by National Geographic, which was dubbed ‘Inside Russia’s Toughest Prison’.
How Vladimir Started Eating Human Flesh
He said, “I was coming home from a party a little drunk. And next to the door of my building another guy, also drunk, asked me for a light. We started arguing and got into a fight. He hit me, and I hit him, and it turned out he died.”
He asserted that he had no intention of eating the man killed by him in the first place, but while dismembering the body to hide it the idea came to his mind.
“What was I to do? I dragged him to the bathroom, undressed him, and started cutting him apart”, he said. Then he said when the idea of eating came, “I cut off a piece of meat from his thigh and boiled it. I tried it but didn’t like it, so I chopped it up and fried it in a frying pan.”

Vladimir took the flesh home but didn’t tell his wife what it was. He said, “He took it home and gave it to his wife. She made dumplings with it, she had some herself and fed some to her children.”
“They didn’t know what it was. I said it was a kangaroo. We don’t have kangaroos around here. They didn’t know what it was.”
How He Got Caught?
This man was held for selling 5 Kg of human flesh into the open market without telling if it was human flesh, told it was a kangaroo. He got arrested only when a woman thought the taste of the flesh was weird. She took the flesh to the doctor, the doc told her it had human blood. The latter doctor called the police and informed everything.
