As the return of the Kejriwal 3.0 looks certain the Lt. Governor of Delhi has begun the constitutional process for new government. Delhi’s Lt. Governor Anil Baijal has dissolved the Delhi legislative assembly.
As per the constitutional norms the previous assembly has to be dissolved to pave way for new one. While the counting of votes is still underway the Lt. Governor has fulfilled his duties. Since a government with clear majority is getting back hence there was no question of waiting unlike in case of ‘hung assembly’.

As per the latest trends in counting AAP was leading on 63 out of 70 seats. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Atishi won their Patparganj and Kalkaji constituencies respectively.
