As it is said time and again that don’t believe on rumors amid the COVID-19 fear but many refuse to listen. Taking advantage of that a man from West Bengal was garnering huge benefits.
The man named Mabud Ali was selling cow urine and cow dung at 500/litre and 500/KG as cure of Coronavirus. Ali who is otherwise a milk vendor set up his makeshift roadside shop to sell these products. The incident is reported 20 km away from the state’s capital in Dankuni. He also pasted a poster outside the shop that reads, “Drink cow urine and ward off coronavirus”. The man was held by police. He is sent into 4-day judicial custody.
“I have two cows -one Indian cow and the other a jersey cow. I earn my living selling milk. So, after I saw the gomutra party on television, I realized I can make more profit by selling cow urine and dung. Now, I can utilize every part of cows in my business,” said Ali in his statement.
