According to the schedule of holidays published by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will be closed for 15 days in July 2023. The second and fourth Saturdays of each month, as well as Sundays, are among these holidays. Eight holidays are state-specific holidays for various reasons, according to the RBI holiday calendar list, while others are weekend holidays.
On several state-specific holidays, including Guru Hargobind Ji’s Birthday, MHIP Day, Ker Puja, Bhanu Jayanti, U Tirot Sing Day, Drukpa Tshe-zi, Ashoora, and Muharram (Tajiya), both public and commercial banks will be closed.
To avoid any hassles at the last minute, customers are urged to organize their bank-related tasks, branch visits, and appointments in accordance with the holiday list.
