Three days of heavy downpour in Bihar’s capital Patna brought the city to a standstill leaving people stranded, flooding roads and killing more than 80. As of now, multiple teams of NDRF have been deployed to help people in need.
Nevertheless, in the midst of the calamity, a woman and a photographer from the city found inspiration in the distraught state of the city and took on the flooded roads for a photoshoot. The photos were shared on Instagram and Facebook by photographer Saurabh Anuraj.
The pictures that show a NIFT student, Aditi Singh, dressed in red, posing on the waterlogged streets of the city has garnered mixed responses from the netizens.
While some criticized the pictures accusing the photographer and model of romanticising the floods to their own advantage, others praised their efforts to put a different picture of the flood in front of the world.
