Anger over the recently enacted Farn bills, had the farmers from Punjab and Haryana burning number ‘Modi Ravana’ on Sunday on the occasion of Dusshera.
In Punjab’s Bathinda, farmers erected a statue of Ravana with the face of Modi besides the face of Indian entrepreneurs Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.
There were numerous effigies of Modi Ravana burned across the states. Have a look:

Recently, BJP president JP Nadda had irked some after he said that not the farmers but the middlemen are protesting against the farm laws in Punjab because they, who used to exploit the farmers, would be the most affected.
In retaliation to the Centre’s farm bills, Punjab has tabled three farm bills in the Punjab legislative assembly to counter the former.
