A huge monitor lizard was recently spotted at a home in Delhi and trust me it looks so scary. The photo of the lizard was shared by IPS officer HGS Dhaliwal on Twitter. And now netizens can’t stop talking about it.

“Must be from the Chattarpur region near the Aravallis. They are pretty common in my native village which is also on the foothills of the aravallis in Gurugram,” a Twitter user said. To this, Dhaliwal replied, “Yes. Chhatarpur area.”
No matter where it is from, that is something I am seeing for the first time in my life and it does look huge. The factor for it wandering out could be the result of rain and less human activity in the region due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Yes, these are Comodo Dragons, they live freely near water resources in many Asian countries, they are non poisonous and shy lizards, they hardly encounter with human, but small animals they swallow, they may harm you by a bite (their mouth contains bacteria’s) if you fight them!
