Talking about the upcoming changes in DTH rules TRAI’s ( Telecom Regulatory Authority of India), chairman Dr RS Sharma said that they have brought the MRP for channels.
Dr. Sharma said that under the new framework the MRP for a channel which was earlier Rs 19 has been brought down to Rs 12. He further said that any channel less than or equal to Rs 12 will be able to be a part of the bouquet.

In its latest amendments in the rules, TRAI cut the prices of the Network Capacity Fee (NCF). As per the revised pricing, now consumers will be entitled to get 200 channels for the same price of Rs. 130. The best part about the revised regulation is that it will exclude all the free to air channels.
