Leaving behind the likes of Elon Musk, Warren Buffet and Google co-founder Larry Page, Mukesh Ambani recently claimed the spot of the 6th richest man in the world. This feat comes days after numerous investments in Relianc’s digital unit, Jio Platforms Ltd. from companies like Facebook, Qualcomm and more.
According to a report by Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries is now worth $72.4 billion.

Jeff Bezos continues to be at the top with a net worth of $184 billion, followed by Bill Gates at $115 billion and Bernard Arnault at $94.5 billion. Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Ballmer claim the 4th and 5th spot with a net worth of $90.8 billion and $74.6 billion respectively.
As per a recent report, Google is also mulling to invest as much as $4 billion in Jio Platforms Ltd.
Also, now Ambani’s wealth is more than the worth of India’s next five billionaires – Aziz Premji ($16.9 billion), Shiv Nadar ($15.8 billion), Gautam Adani ($12.6 billion), Radhakishan Damani ($11.8 billion) and Cyrus Poonawala ($11.8 billion).
