Following the media reports, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken a suo motu cognizance of the encounter of 4 rape accused that took place in the early hours of Friday.
NHRC has asked its DG (Investigation) to immediately send a team for a fact finding on the spot investigation into the matter. Questions have been raised on encounter by many on grounds of the illegality of the operation however, the general public applauded the Hyderabad Police for there action. The sister of the victim said that the “justice is served” to her sister with the police action.
