Days after India had released its new political map post declaring J&K and Ladakh as two new union territories, Nepal has objected to it for showing ‘Kalapani’ as a part of Indian territory. Nepal said Kalapani, in the country’s far-West, is a part of Nepalese territory. India had released its fresh political map on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Nepal government has said that the border-related issues between “the two friendly countries” should be resolved on the basis of historical documents and evidence. However, India has denied Nepal’s claim saying Kalapani was always a part of India.
