New Zealand’s International women cricket team members and star players Amy Satterthwaite and Lea Tahuhu announced the arrival of their first child. Amy and Lea who are a lesbian couple that got hitched in 2017 named their daughter Grace Marie Satterthwaite.
Lea took to her Instagram account to make the announcement of the birth public. The couple was together since 2010 and got engaged in 2014 only after LGBT marriage was made legal in New Zealand in August 2013.

Lea and Amy are not the only same-sex couple in women’s international cricket and are joined by Hayley Jensen-Nicola Hancock and South Africa’s Dane van Niekerk and Marizanne Kapp.
