Amidst economic slowdown in the country, the Finance Minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman, on Tuesday unveiled infrastructure projects worth Rs. 102 lakh crore for the next five years. Subsequently, infusing this money into infrastructure projects has been recommended by a high-level task force.

The minister further added that an additional Rs. 3 lakh projects will later be added to the existing projects. The projects will be spread across 22 ministries, 18 states and Union Territories, she said. “Power, railways, agriculture, irrigation, mobility, health, water and digital sector form the bulk of the pipeline project,” she added.
