The Union HRD Ministry has cleared the air over class 10th CBSE board exams on a day JEE and NEET dates were announced. It is now official that remaining examinations for class 10th board students would not be conducted by the CBSE. However, it would be conducted in one district.
That one district where the exams would be held is North-East Delhi. North-East Delhi was the one area that was affected by the Delhi riots in the month of February. In its tweet, the HRD ministry also said that time of 10 days will be given to all students for the preparation of exams.
The dates of the class 10th and class 12th board examinations would be announced soon. CBSE has already made it clear that it would conduct the class 12th examination for only the important subjects. The board also said that it would take class 10th exams which are now officially canceled.

CBSE would now have to conduct only 12th board exams as far as the present situation is concerned. In Northeast Delhi, it has to conduct some more examinations for class 12th as compared to for the rest of the country. Many main subject exams like Physics and Accountancy are pending in the district.
