In a first official meet after the political scuffle in Maharastra, Uddhav Thackeray met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. The former claimed that he met PM Modi to discuss CAA, NRC and NPR. After the meet, he while speaking to the reporters said, “No one needs to fear about the CAA. NPR is not going to throw anyone out of the country”.
Uddhav Thackeray’s party had walked out of the NDA owing to BJP’s denial on letting a Shiv Sena member take the post of CM of Maharastra for half the CM term. Owing to the scuffle, Shiv Sena had joined hands with Congress and the NCP to form the government in the state.
