Noida’s First Deer Park and Sunset Safari Set to Transform City Life
Noida is on the brink of a green revolution with the upcoming launch of its first-ever deer park and mini-zoo at Sector 91’s Biodiversity Park. This ambitious project is not just about creating a new recreational space-it’s about redefining how cities can blend conservation, education, and leisure for everyone.
What Makes This Park a Game-Changer?
- The new deer park will be the first of its kind in Noida and Ghaziabad, offering a sanctuary for 132 deer representing 10 different species. Among these, visitors will find native varieties like chital and sambar, as well as African antelopes such as the springbok, impala, wildebeest, and lesser kudu. These animals will arrive from established zoos across India and select international sources, ensuring a vibrant and diverse habitat.
- Every detail of the park’s design is being shaped by wildlife experts, including a retired district forest officer. Their expertise guarantees that the enclosures mimic natural habitats, supporting animal health and encouraging natural behaviors. The use of eco-friendly, spectrum lighting will allow evening visits without disturbing the animals’ routines.
- Spanning 30 lush acres and backed by a ₹40 crore investment, the park will feature more than just animal enclosures. It will serve as a rehabilitation center for rescued wildlife, including animals saved from airports and a new rescue facility near the Dhanauri Wetland. Modern amenities for visitors-such as walkways, viewing platforms, food stalls, and souvenir shops-will ensure a comfortable and educational experience.
- Conservation and education are at the heart of this project. The park is designed not only to protect wildlife but also to inspire visitors with interactive learning opportunities. Programs will focus on biodiversity, sustainability, and the importance of protecting native and exotic species.
- A standout attraction will be the Sunset Safari, allowing guests to explore the park until 10 PM. Thanks to innovative spectrum lighting, visitors can observe deer and aquatic birds in a setting that feels like natural dusk, all while ensuring the animals remain undisturbed. This unique experience is set to become a major draw for both locals and tourists.
With construction set to begin soon, Noida’s new deer park and mini-zoo promise to become a vibrant hub where nature, education, and recreation meet-right in the heart of the city.
