Indian cab aggregator Ola is all set to become global with its first major city launch outside India. The Bengaluru based company is going to launch its operations in London from next week.

As per Ola’s announcement on social media, it is planned to launch operations in London on February 10. Last year Ola got a one-year Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) license from the Transport of London. The license issued by the government body is valid till October 3rd, 2020.
“We are working closely with drivers to build a high quality and reliable service for Londoners. Launching in London is a major milestone for us,” said Simon Smith, head of Ola International. The company claims that so far close to 20,000 drivers have registered with it. At present Ola operates across Birmingham, Coventry, and Warwick.
