The health workers are the most exposed section when it comes to COVID-19. Many of the practitioners are affected by it so far. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has said that around 4% of the health workers have fallen prey to the deadly virus.
Dr. Harhs Vardhan said that around 4.11 percent of health workers in Delhi have come in the grip of COVID-19. So, far 13 paramedics, 26 nurses, 24 field workers, and 33 doctors have been affected. The concern was also raised over the rising number of hotspots in the national capital.

Meanwhile, the death counter due to Coronavirus in the country crossed the 1,000 mark. India has now over 1,000 deaths caused due to coronavirus. The total number of cases are above 31, 500. Globally the stat has gone up by 31 lakh. Amidst this, all the nation is looking towards an extension of lockdown for the 2nd time.
As per the meetings of state CMs with PM Modi and the inputs that have come in lockdown 3.0 is on cards. The Union IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad informed that the government has extended relaxations of certain norms till 31 July for companies to extend work form home. The extension is for information technology and business process outsourcing (BPO) firms.
