In an unfortunate news, entrepreneur Mahashay’ Dharampal Gulati and the owner and the CEO of the world-renowned brand, MDH, passed away on December 3. He was 97 years old.

As per the reports, Gulati had been admitted to a hospital in Delhi and was undergoing treatment where he suffered a cardiac arrest on December 3 morning.
Gulati was born in Sialkot, which now lays in Pakistan, and he later migrated to India. MDH (Mahashian Di Hatti), the brand renowned for its masale was founded by his father Mahashay Chunni Lal Gulati.
In 2019, Gulati was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian award.

In a tweet, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said: “India’s most inspiring entrepreneur, MDH owner Dharm Pal Mahashay passed away this morning. I have never met such an inspiring and lively soul. May his soul rest in peace.”
A host of people took on Twitter to celebrate his glory and remember his remarkable contributions to India.
