Taking in suggestions from a Twitter user OYO rooms founder Ritesh Agarwal has stepped in to help. As the government is preparing itself against COVID-19 by creating Quarantine Centres OYO has offered its help.
One of the Twitter users asked Ritesh to tie up with the government to launch ‘quarantine centers‘. Replying to him Ritesh tweeted that the company is open to this. He also wrote that OYO would like to adopt this across cities in India.
As of September 2019, OYO had over 18,000 hotels in India with 270,000 rooms. It is present in over 500 cities of India. The spread of the virus has left most of the cities across India in shut down.
