Pakistan has unanimously passed a resolution expressing “unflinching and unwavering support” to the Kashmiri people and asking India to reverse its decision to subrogate Article 370 in the valley and revoke the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. The resolution was passed on Kashmir Solidarity Day that Pakistan observes on Feburary 5 every year.

Ever since India subrogated J&K’s special status, Pakistan has been protesting against the same. The neighbouring country has twice sought the help of its beloved friend China to raise the issue in the United Nations Security Council. However, both the times, the members of the Security Council have rejected to vote cast their votes on the issue. Pakistan also called upon the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to immediately convene a special summit on Kashmir.
