The winter session of Parliament would start from November 18th and would go on for 20 odd days till December 13th. During the session the issue of communication shutdown and lockdown of leaders in J&K is expected to be raised by the opposition.
Economic slowdown and poor performance of India on global fronts like the recently released Global Hunger Index would also be on opposition radar. However, from the perspective of government, they would find themselves in a comfortable position in Rajya Sabha where they found it tough to get the bills through earlier due to shortage of strength.
