Baba Ramdev run Patanjali has launched the first Ayurvedic medicine, Coronil, that they claim can treat coronavirus in 7 days. The medicine, as per Baba Ramdev, is made of Ashwagandha, Giloy and Tulsi and has shown a 100 per cent recovery rate in COVID-infected people they gave it to.

“Coming up with a clinically-tested, evidence-based medicine was a challenge,” Ramdev said today while launching Coronil tablet. “Under this 280 patients were included and 100 per cent of those recovered. We were able to control corona and its complications in this,” he added.

However, despite all these claims, the AYUSH ministry of the Indian government has put a hold on advertising and selling of Coronil saying that it would first examine the medicine before allowing its sale.
