Pictures of a newly built park in Kerala are creating all the buzz on the internet as people can’t stop comparing it with the world out there.
The pictures of Vagbhatananda Park at Karakkad, near Vadakara in Kozhikode district, stormed the internet hours after its inauguration. The park, recently revamped by the government, entertains both modern architecture and hosts nature at its best. And trust us, it’s better that we let the pictures do the talking.
The newly built park has all the modern facilities including statues, an open stage, badminton court, open gymnasium, and children’s park. The paths and toilets are differently-abled friendly.
To better compare, the minister also shared before and after pictures of the area where the park has been erected.
“I realise that the renovation of this park had an active participation of locals. From the beginning of designing, the renovation activities have been conducted by considering the opinions of the locals and their regions,” the minister’s post in Malayalam said.
The total price incurred to construct the park was around Rs 2.80 crore. People on social media were excited to see the newly built park and were all praises for the Kerala government:
