As PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Ram Mandir at Ram Janam Bhoomi in Ayodhya, not only India but even New York echoed with chants celebrating Ram. To celebrate the occasion, an image of Lord Ram and a 3D portrait of the model of Ram Temple in Ayodhya was beamed on a giant billboard at Times Square in New York.
The image of the deity was beamed on the most expensive billboard at Times Square funded by various communities. A community member had earlier said that among the prominent billboards that have been leased are the giant Nasdaq screen and the 17,000-square-foot wrap-around LED display screen,
Prime Minister Modi in his speech post-inaugural ceremony in Ayodhya has said that the temple will reek out the essence of brotherhood.

In the ceremony, soil from almost 2,000 holy sites across India and water from across100 holy rivers were used in the rituals.
Later at night, Indians celebrated the grand moment with lighting diyas and calling it their own ‘Diwali’.
