The Government of India promised to give Rs. 6000 to a selected group of farmers annually in three instalments. These three instalments amount Rs. 2000 each and one of them has been disbursed by PM Narendra Modi on 17 October 2022.
The total amount of money transferred by the Government is 16,000 crores which has been received by the qualified farmers.
The government has disbursed Rs. 2 Lakh crores to these farmers under PM KISAN Yojana.
Who gets the benefit under PM KISAN?
The scheme benefits a certain number of landholder farmer families of India who own cultivable lands. However, there are more limitations and exceptions attached to the conditions that define the list of the farmers who get this money.
How to verify if I get the benefit of PM KISAN?
If you wish to check your eligibility for getting the financial assistance under the PM KISAN scheme, then follow the steps which are mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of PM KISAN Yojana that is linked here.
Step 2: Find ‘Beneficiary List’ on the right side under ‘Farmers Corner’ and click on it.
Step 3: You will be directed to a new page that looks like this (as shown in the picture below). Fill the asked information to find the list of the beneficiaries in your area and click on the ‘Get Report’ button.
Step 4: This is a random list I pulled to show you what it looks like. It has Farmer’s Name and Gender which is arranged alphabetically. You can find your name accordingly.
