Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate five Vande Bharat trains and two Amrit Bharat trains on December 30, with two of these trains scheduled to run to Bengaluru.
Amrit Bharat trains use push and pull technologies to minimize travel time while increasing total train speed. On the same day as the train starts, PM Modi will also inaugurate Ayodhya’s new railway station and the Maryada Purushottam Sri Rama Airport.
PM Modi will be present at the event in Ayodhya on December 30, signalling the green light for the new trains, airports, and railway stations. The Vande Bharat trains would run between Ayodhya and Anand Vihar, New Delhi and Vaishnodevi, Amritsar and New Delhi, Jalna and Mumbai, and Coimbatore and Bengaluru. During this period, the Amrit Bharat trains from Delhi to Darbhanga and Malda to Bangalore would also begin service.
Amrit Bharat trains have reached 150 in number, catering to the demands of the working-class population. These trains link states like as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana, Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh.
These trains, which use pull-push technology, are likely to beat even Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains. According to sources, Amrit Bharat trains have rates that are 10% to 15% more than fast trains.
The Vande Bharat trains are being connected to Ayodhya. The Ayodhya airport, which opened on December 30, will begin flights on January 5, substantially improving connectivity and transportation in the region.
