As China battles the wrath of Coronavirus India has extended a hand of help. Recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written to Chinese President Xi Jinping expressing solidarity.
India has offered assistance to China in battling the Coronavirus that has killed over 800 people. PM Modi also appreciated China for facilitating the evacuation of Indians from the Coronavirsu epicenter Hubei province.
After PM ‘s extension, Chinese ambassador Sun Weidong had briefed Indian foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan. He provided updates about Chinese efforts in dealing with the crisis. ‘I appreciate the friendly message and kind support from the Indian government. I look forward to further cooperation and confident the epidemic will be brought to end soon’, tweeted Sun.

India also removed surgical masks and gloves from the list of banned export items. After the coronavirus outbreak, the government had banned the export of protective gear from China. This was done to ensure safety from the disease.
