A day after victory in four out of five states including Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand, PM Narendra Modi started building a roadmap for Gujarat. Gujarat will undergo Assembly Elections next year and Prime Minister did not waste a day and received a warm welcome in his home state.
PM Narendra Modi will be in Gujarat for two days to attend several official events. Today evening he will address Gujarat Panchayat Mahasammelan which would be attended by over one lakh representatives of all Panchayati Raj Institutions in the state.
The grand road show was conducted on an open jeep decorated heavily with flowers. PM Modi with his electric presence waved hands to hundreds of admirers and supporters that gathered from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport, Ahemdabad to Kamalam, which is state headquarters of BJP in Gandhi Nagar.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and BJP President CR Patil were seen on the open jeep with PM Narendra Modi. Assembly Elections will be held next year in Gujarat but the dates of which has not been announced by the Election Commission.
He tweeted yesterday that, “Leaving for Gujarat, where I will be attending various programmes today and tomorrow. At 4 PM today, will address a Panchayat Mahasammelan, where several representatives from Panchayati Raj institutions will attend.”
BJP won over 273 seats in UP, Samajwadi Party stood second with 125 seats while as Congress and BSP won only 2 and 1 seat respectively.
AAP showed an exemplary performance in the state by winning over 92 seats, Congress stood at second place with 18 seats while as Akali Dal and BJP stood at 4 and 2 seats respectively. Veteran leaders of the state Captain Amrinder Singh and Parkash Singh Badal lost their seats to Aam Aadmi Party.
In Uttarakhand BJP won with a majority of 47 seats. It also secured 32 and 20 seats in Manipur and Goa.
