After his address on 19th March 2020, 5 days ago Prime Minister Narendra Modi is back again. Amidst the widespread of COVID-19 in the country, the PM would be addressing the nation again.
The PM tweeted in this regards on Tuesday. The PM tweeted, ” Will address the nation at 8 PM today, 24th March 2020, on vital aspects relating to the menace of COVID-19“. Unlike the tweet before his last address PM made clear that it was about COVID-19.
In his last address, he called for ‘Janta Curfew’ and appreciating the effort of health workers and all those who are out at work. For appreciating the efforts he asked people to come out at their balconies at 5:00 PM during ‘Janta Curfew’ and clap.
After Sunday’s ‘Janta Curfew’ many states announced ‘lockdown’. These lockdowns have now taken the face of curfew as people are not listening. The PM tweeted yesterday as well urging people to ‘take lockdowns’ seriously.

Since the PM has a strong following he would be cashing on it to make people aware once again. This time some stricter appeals can be made from his side. This address is also essential as the country so far has reported 10 deaths and over 500 cases of COVID-19. In coming days the lockdowns and curfews can be expected across the country.
