After every now and then our leaders say something iconic and unbelievable(sometimes stupid as well!), which makes us wonder whether it’s real or are they acting out in a series??
But have you ever wondered with which iconic dialogues our politicians will relate to….if they were a part of GOT?
I bet …you already have a grin on your face. After all, GOT does have iconic and super-sexy dialogues!!
Here’s a take on the lines that the politicians would use and totally get away with it….!!
1. RAHUL GANDHI
“That’s what I do. I smoke THINGS and I say THINGS.” (Courtesy – Tyrion Lannister)
Our dear ‘Rahul Gandhi’ never leaves a chance to say ‘THINGS’ – that apparently only he can understand the meaning of!! Undoubtedly, this tag-line is something he can use to shake his hands off from anything – anytime…anywhere…everywhere!!
2. ARVIND KEJRIWAL
“Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. I tried to climb it and failed, and never got to try again. The fall broke me. And some are given a chance to climb; they cling to the real or the gods or love. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.” (Courtesy – Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish)
Mr. Kejriwal tried his best to touch the new horizons with AAP, but sadly nothing ground-breaking ever happened! And he still seems to go on with his ‘Ladder- Climbing- game’. We wish you all the best, Sir Kejri!!
3. MANMOHAN SINGH
“The stupid things I do for love.” (Courtesy – Jamie Lannister)
The shy and quite Knight who ends up doing things ….well, for Love. Be it refusing Modi government’s special invitation to him to participate in the GST tax roll out or the fact that he still lives in perpetual awe of Sonia – it all shows the extent of his so-called- ‘Love’!!
4. MULAYAM SINGH YADAV
“If you think this has a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention.” (Courtesy – Ramsay Bolton)
This majestic politician – who despite having numerous controversies around him manages to come out clean and make his point heard to the public and his political fraternity as well. He is smart and he knows that people don’t pay ‘attention’….or do they??
5. LALU PRASAD YADAV
“It’s not easy being humorous and bad-ass all the time. If it were easy, everyone would do it.” (Courtesy – Tyrion Lannister)
Believe it or not, Lalu Yadav is one of the most humorous politicians of all -times. Be it an interview or press conference- his wit and humor never fail to make us laugh our asses off!!
6. APJ ABDUL KALAM
“Power resides where men believe it resides. It’s a trick. A shadow on the wall. And a very small action can cast a very large reaction.”(Courtesy – Lord Varys)
This gem of India during his tenure as a president won millions of heart and brought our country to a higher ground. He may be gone, but his achievements, teachings and life lessons continue to inspire and enlighten minds even today. You still inspire us!
7. SHEILA DIKSHIT
I’ve known a great many clever men. I’ve outlived them all. You know why? I ignored them.(Courtesy – Olenna Tyrell)
This lady is one fighter- and surviving numerous controversies is a game for her. I mean she got away with things like- ‘Rs. 600 is enough to feed a family of five’ and still went on to spark several others. She definitely is a survivor, eh? (*facepalm*)
8. MAMTA BANERJEE
“If you ever call me ‘sister’ again, I’ll have you strangled in your sleep.”(Courtesy – Cersei Lannister)
Known for her whimsical and dictatorial ways- Mamta Didi, no wonder is someone you need to watch out for. She has successfully ruled the West Bengal throne ever since she got elected as CM in the year 2011. Now that seems to be a long-long survival, doesn’t it?
9. SONIA GANDHI
“Everyone who isn’t us is an enemy.” (Courtesy – Cersei Lannister)
She is one of the most controversial & mysterious politicians of recent times and has always been fierce women when it comes to her family. Her dedication in keeping up the royal name as she is a member of the Nehru–Gandhi family, can still be clearly seen. Undoubtedly, someone to watch out for!
10. NITISH KUMAR
“It’s easy to confuse ‘what is’ with ‘what ought to be’, especially when ‘what is’ has worked out in your favor.”(Courtesy – Tyrion Lannister)
He is a man who loves walking out of an ordeal. With making and breaking alliances in the last decade, Mr. Kumar just gets confused a little. After all, he is just trying to favor those who favored him in the past!!
And….just before you go………Last but not the least-
(on the accounts of past and recent life-threats)
11. NARENDRA MODI
“What do we say to the Lord of Death? ”Not today.” (Courtesy – Syrio Forel)
The master of the cards, our PM Modi- has climbed the stairs of success and development ever since he set foot in the political arena. There is no doubt that he has dogged threats and attacks with courage and also helped save lives of innocent people by controlling the situation swiftly. The ultimate King of the Kings!!
