The Diwali is yet not over and the air quality in the national capital Delhi has already hit the worst. Early this week the air pollution hit the lowest second time in the month going down to “very poor”.
On Friday the concentration of particulate matter, in Delhi’s air touched 388 more than six times above the normal “safe” limit of 60. Lack of wind speed is sighted as the main reason behind this sharp deterioration in air quality.

With Diwali ahead this weekend the situation would only worsen as burning of crackers would add to the misery.
