The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president, Sourav Ganguly, has been admitted to Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata after he complained of sudden chest pain.
As per the reports, Ganguly suffered a mild cardiac arrest on Saturday when he was at the gym following which he was taken to the hospital.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted to say that Ganguly suffered a “mild cardiac arrest” and wished him a speedy recovery. The hospital, however, hasn’t made an official announcement yet. Some reports, as of now, suggest that his condition is stable. As per NDTV, Ganguly, 48, is currently undergoing primary undergo angioplasty.
As the news broke out, prayers poured in for Dada on social media.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken to Sourav Ganguly’s wife, Dona Ganguly, and promised her all the help from the Government. “Sourav will be moved to Delhi if needed,” Shah has assured.
