The Northern Railways has announced the expansion of services for the Pune-Ayodhya Cantt Special Train. Beginning May 10 and ending May 31, the train will operate more frequently, giving customers more travel alternatives.
The Pune-Ayodhya Cantt Special Train, which formerly ran on a restricted schedule, will operate every Friday and Tuesday as train number 01455. Similarly, the Ayodhya Cantt.-Pune Special Bi-Weekly Special train, number 01456, will run every Sunday and Thursday in the other way.
Pune-Ayodhya Cantt Special Train Stoppages
The new departure schedule for the Pune to Ayodhya Cantt. route (train number 01455) is fixed at 19:30 on Fridays and Tuesdays. The train will stop at many stops, including Chinchwad, Lonavala, Panvel, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina Jn., Virangana Laxmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur, and Lucknow, before arriving at Ayodhya Cantt. at 08:50.
Every Sunday and Thursday, the train number 01456 departs Ayodhya Cantt. for Pune at 03:55 a.m. Passengers can order tickets for this service from May 9, 2024, at all PRS counters and on the IRCTC website.
In other developments, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched the Bharat Gaurav train, also known as Punya Thirtha Yathirai.
This unique train will depart from Tirunelveli and pass through Tambaram, Chennai Egmore, Gaya Junction, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Varanasi on several circuits, offering vacation packages that include off-board excursions, hotel accommodations, tour guides, meals, travel insurance, and luxury train travel.
