Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s longest reigning monarch who ruled over 70 years, who saw the fall of Britain’s largest empire which was spanned globally and lead the Modern Britain to the height at which the Country stands today, died at age of 96.
Queen Elizabeth II Died At Balmoral, Scotland
Queen died a peaceful death at her estate in Balmoral, Scotland, in the afternoon on September 8, as per a released statement from Buckingham Palace. Her family grew concerned over her health on Thursday and summoned her to the Scottish estate.
The Queen commenced her reign in 1952 and witnessed major changes related to social matters. Now with her, Charles, her oldest Son and former Prince of Wales will take over the charge and lead the Country as their new King and as the head of estate for 14 realms.
PM Lizz Truss Mourned Her Death
Newly elected as Britain’s PM, Lizz Truss, expressed her grief and resembled the Queen as the “rock on which modern Britain has built”, as soon as Buckingham Palace conveyed the message about the death of Queen Elizabeth II in Scotland.
“She was the very spirit of Great Britain – and that spirit will endure,” said Truss. “Queen Elizabeth II was the rock on which modern Britain was built. Our country has grown and flourished under her reign. Britain is the great country it is today because of her”, she said.
“She has been our longest-ever reigning monarch. It is an extraordinary achievement to have presided with such dignity and grace for 70 years. Her life of service stretched beyond most of our living memories. In return, she was loved and admired by the people in the United Kingdom and all around the world”, further added.
US President Joe Biden Said On Queen’s Demise
The US flag was lowered to mark the passing of Britain’s longest reigning monarch whose legacy as per US President Joe Biden, “will loom large in the pages of British history, and in the story of our world”.
Indian PM Narendra Modi’s Statement Over The Demise of Queen Elizabeth II
PM Modi resembled Queen Elizabeth II as “Her Majesty” who will be “remembered as a stalwart of our times.”
He said “She provided inspiring leadership to her nation and people. She personified dignity and decency in public life. Pained by her demise. My thoughts are with her family and people of the UK in this sad hour”.

PM Modi also posted a second tweet seconds after his first in which he remembered a “memorable meeting with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during the UK visits in 2015 and 2018.”
He said “I will never forget her warmth and kindness. During one of the meetings, she showed me the handkerchief Mahatma Gandhi gifted her at her wedding. I will always cherish that gesture.”
