RailOne App Launched: All Your Indian Railways Needs in One Place!
Indian Railways has introduced a brand-new app called RailOne, designed to make train travel easier and more convenient for everyone. This app brings together many important railway services in one place, so passengers don’t have to use different apps or remember several passwords.
All Services in One App
With RailOne, you can do almost everything related to train travel, all from a single app. Here’s what you can expect:
- Book Reserved and Unreserved Tickets: Whether you want a reserved seat or an unreserved ticket, you can do it all here.
- Check PNR Status: Easily find out the status of your booking with just a few taps.
- View Train Schedules: Get up-to-date information about train timings and routes.
- See Coach Positions: Know exactly where your coach will be on the platform.
- Order Food: Order meals to be delivered right to your seat during your journey.
- Submit Feedback: Share your travel experience or raise issues directly through the app.
All these features mean you no longer need to download separate apps like IRCTC Rail Connect, UTS, NTES, or Food on Track. Everything is now available in one place.
Easy to Use for Everyone
RailOne has been designed with a simple and clear interface, so even if you’re using it for the first time, you’ll find it easy to navigate. Here’s what makes it user-friendly:
- Single Sign-On: Use your existing IRCTC or UTS login details. No need to remember multiple passwords.
- Quick Registration: New users can sign up easily with just a few details.
- Available for All Phones: Download the app on both Android and iOS devices.
- Guest Access: If you only want to check a train or PNR status, you can do so without logging in. Just enter your mobile number and OTP.
Smart Features for Modern Travelers
RailOne is not just about convenience; it also brings smart features to improve your travel experience:
- Saves Phone Storage: Since it combines many services, you don’t need several apps, freeing up space on your device.
- Digital Payments: Use the built-in R-Wallet for safe and easy payments. You can log in using a secure mPIN or your fingerprint.
- Tatkal Booking Verification: Starting July 1, 2025, only verified users can book Tatkal tickets. You’ll need to verify your identity using Aadhaar or DigiLocker, with OTP authentication required by the end of July.
- Earlier Chart Preparation: The time for preparing passenger lists will be extended from four to eight hours before departure. For early morning trains, charts will now be ready the night before, making it easier for waitlisted passengers to plan.
- Future-Ready System: By December 2025, the reservation system will get a major upgrade. It will be able to handle more bookings and enquiries at the same time, offer a multilingual interface, and provide special booking options for students, people with disabilities, and patients.

With the launch of RailOne, Indian Railways is making travel smoother, faster, and more comfortable for everyone. Here’s how it benefits passengers:
- No More App Overload: Everything you need for your train journey is in one app.
- Simple and Secure: Easy logins, secure payments, and quick access to all services.
